Cemal/Gemi has been with DOZ since 1993. He started as an audit intern and worked as an auditor, IT manager and head of marketing for 10 years. He soon realized he was better at karaoke than debits and credits and has served as the Director of Marketing ever since.

Joseph (Joey) Hague, Red Capital Markets, LLC
Joseph R. Hague, IV, Red Capital Markets, LLC Mr. Hague joined Red Capital Markets, LLC in January 2007. Mr. Hague specializes in structuring tax-exempt, FHA, and Fannie Mae debt financings for affordable housing transactions. Mr. Hague has worked with and advised local housing authorities, non-profit developers and for-profit housing developers on capital structures and financings. Prior to joining RED, Mr. Hague worked as a Financial Analyst in National City's Commercial Banking Development Program. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Ohio University where he majored in Accounting and Finance.

Jeanne Golliher, Cincinnati Development Fund (CDF)
Jeanne Golliher has served as President and CEO of the Cincinnati Development Fund (CDF) since July 1998, following 16 years in community lending and advocacy as Vice President of Community Development for KeyBank. CDF is a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) which underwrites and services community development real estate loans that result in the creation or preservation of affordable housing, or revitalization of urban communities. CDF is also a certified Community Development Entity (CDE), a designation that allows the organization to receive and deploy Federal New Markets Tax Credits. CDF has originated loans totaling over $400 million, and currently manages a portfolio of $205 million in direct loans and assets under management. Its loan capital comes from loans and investments provided by banks, corporations, foundations, the Federal Home Loan Bank and the CDFI Fund, a division of the US Treasury. Ms. Golliher serves on the boards of Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing, Greater Cincinnati LISC, Homesteading and Urban Redevelopment Corporation, Woodward Trust, Economic Development Committee of Hamilton County Development Corporation. She a member of PNC Community Partners and PNC Bank's Community Development Advisory Boards, IFF Community Development Advisory Board and Park National Bank's SW Ohio Advisory Board. Ms. Golliher formerly served as Treasurer for Hamilton County Development Corporation, President of the Better Housing League, Member of the Economic Development Cabinet under past County Commission Presidents David Pepper and Todd Portune, and served as Commissioner to the Cincinnati Human Relations Commission.

Jim Durham, Ohio Housing Finance Agency
Jim Durham joined OHFA in June 2014 after more than 30 years in the banking industry, having most recently served as the Vice President of Commercial Banking Operations and Administration for Fifth Third Bank. Under his leadership, the Office of Homeownership works with mortgage lenders throughout the state of Ohio to assist First-Time Homebuyers with low- to moderate-incomes by providing Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance, Grants for Grads, Ohio Heroes loans and other interest rate subsidies. Active in the community, Durham has volunteered at the North YMCA in Columbus for more than 20 years and currently serves as Chair of the Consulting Board. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Mount Union and resides in Worthington.

Steve Smith, Model Group Inc
With over 20 years of experience in urban development, construction and property management, Steve leads the Model Group as CEO. In this position since 2001, Steve has been responsible for setting strategy and direction for the Model Group. After founding Model Property Development in 2001, Steve pioneered the 'Transformative Neighborhood Revitalization' strategies that have become the hallmark of the Model Group's development philosophy and approach. Under Steve's leadership, the Model Group has completed over $550 million in real estate development since 2001. Steve has also been a regional and statewide leader in the affordable housing industry in Ohio and Kentucky, pushing for a new affordable housing paradigm – one that sees affordable housing as both a high quality home for families and an economic stimulus to broader community revitalization. In fact, he personally hosted HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan in 2010 as the secretary looked for national models of successful housing development using federal NSP funds. Steve is past chair of the Ohio Housing Council, which helps shape affordable housing development policy in Ohio, and is a frequent speaker at such conferences as the Ohio Housing Conference, the Kentucky Housing Conference, the National Historic Preservation Summit, and the National Association for State and Local Equity Funds. He chaired the Permanent Supportive Housing committee of Cincinnati's Homeless to Homes Plan. He is a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati, and a 2011 inductee into the Working in Neighborhoods Hall of Fame. Steve received a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Kentucky University. He is married with three children.

Leah Werner, Corporation for Supportive Housing
Leah Werner is a seasoned affordable housing professional with over twenty years of experience in the housing and community development field. As a Senior Program Manager, Leah has trained nationally on supportive housing best practices including Housing First, Property Management and Supportive Service Coordination and Eviction Prevention. She has been lead facilitator for 5 Supportive Housing Institutes. She also works with PSH stakeholders on advancing the creation of quality supportive housing throughout the state of Ohio through technical assistance, partnership development, and advocacy. Leah graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Urban Geography. She began her career as a community organizer working in several communities throughout Ohio. Leah spent 9 years at East End Community Services, initially as a community organizer and was then promoted to Director of Housing and Community Development. Leah was responsible for the production of 80 units of affordable housing developed with Tax Credit; a $9M investment. She managed the demolition of over 100 dilapidated houses and secured and managed over $2M in local, state and federal resources. After leaving East End, Leah worked as a Project Manager for the Oberer Companies, a for-profit real estate company, focusing her work on affordable housing development. After leaving the Oberer Companies, Leah joined the Ohio Department of Medicaid charged with identifying and removing housing barriers for individuals on Medicaid who were living in Institutions. While at Medicaid was recruited to work for CSH and has been in the Ohio office for over 3 years.

Myia Batie, Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing
Myia Batie joined the Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in April 2016 as Coordinator of Policy and Programs. Prior to joining OCCH, Batie worked as the Program and Policy Manager in the Office of Planning, Preservation and Development at the Ohio Housing Finance Agency where she was responsible for planning and policy development across the multifamily housing development programs including the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program, Housing Development Assistance Programs, Housing Development Loan Program and Multifamily Bond Program. Prior to her role as Program and Policy Manager, Batie worked in the Office of Affordable Housing Research, also with the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, where she led strategic planning and performance measurement processes for the Agency. Batie holds a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor's Degree in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University, and was a 2011 L. Douglas Wilder Graduate Fellow with the Virginia Housing Development Authority in partnership with the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs. Batie is a member of the American Planning Association and is certified as a Housing Development Finance Professional by the National Development Council.

Sarah Malone, Wallick Communities
Sarah Malone serves as Senior Vice President of Asset Management. In this role, Sarah oversees Wallick's asset management division and ensures all company-owned communities are performing financially and generating a return on investment. Ms. Malone handles the negotiation of community acquisitions. She also makes sure these communities are maintained in accordance with the company's vison to provide safe, affordable housing for families and seniors. Prior to joining Wallick in 2018, Sarah spent 10 years at Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) directing the daily activities of their fund management department. Sarah is a board member for the YWCA of Columbus and received a bachelor's in business administration and marketing from Ashland University as well as an MBA from Capital University.

William (Bill) Faith, Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio
Bill Faith has served as Executive Director of the Coalition on Homelessness and Housing since 1994. Throughout his career, he has worked to advance housing solutions for people with disabilities, led organizations fighting homelessness on the frontlines, and advocated for affordable housing at both the state and federal levels. Bill serves as Chairman of the Ohio Housing Trust Fund Advisory Committee, Chairman Emeritus of the National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) and was previously President of the Board of Directors for the National Coalition for the Homeless.

Renee Beaver, Novogradac & Company LLP
Renee Beaver is a partner in the Cleveland office of Novogradac & Company LLP. She has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, with an emphasis in affordable housing, historic redevelopment and renewable energy. Ms. Beaver represents both for-profit and nonprofit developers and consults with numerous investors in affordable housing in addition to providing audit and tax services. Her experience includes accounting, auditing, forecasting and compliance of developments subject to the regulatory requirements of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). She represents developers and investors in structuring a variety of real estate transactions and is a frequent speaker at real estate industry conferences. Ms. Beaver is the treasurer on the Ohio Housing Council's executive committee, on the board of the Cleveland Restoration Society, a member of the advisory committee of National Multi-Family Housing Council and active in the National Association of Home Builders. She graduated from Cleveland State University and is licensed in Ohio and Michigan as a certified public accountant.

Charles Hillman, Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority
